Dr. Sean L. Huddleston is a highly regarded transformational leader who helps organizations build the capacity they need to thrive. Dr. Huddleston's career has spanned many industries, including Fortune 500 corporations, national non-profit organizations, and Higher Education. Before founding HSA, Dr. Huddleston served as the fifth president of Martin University, Indiana's only Predominantly Black Institution of Higher Education. Under Dr. Huddleston’s leadership, the university increased new student enrollment, improved retention and graduation rates, and expanded academic programs and offerings. Dr. Huddleston also led efforts that achieved unprecedented fundraising revenue growth through restricted and unrestricted gifts and grants. During his tenure leading the institution, Dr. Huddleston received numerous awards for his educational and community leadership, including being recognized as one of Indiana's top leaders by the Indiana Business Journal.
Dr. Huddleston’s leadership and professional experience also include leading business development and organizational growth strategy for corporations and non-profit organizations throughout the United States in a wide range of sectors, including Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Travel and Tourism.
Dr. Huddleston holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Siena Heights University and advanced degrees from Grand Valley State University. Dr. Huddleston earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Ferris State University and has earned professional business certifications from Cornell University and Dartmouth College.
